Cook

Know preparation of all menu items and make sure all orders are cooked specific to order and all orders are served according to menu layout and in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Line cook for all shifts available
• Know preparation of all food items on the menu
• Maintain temperature of all fryers/steam table/coolers and freezers as necessary
• Keep a clean and safe kitchen environment for all employees to prevent injuries and accidents
• Complete all food preparation as needed
• Responsible for keeping food cost and waste list items to a minimum
• Assist with all positions in the kitchen including cook, prep cook and dish washing as needed
• Oversee teh Food Runner position and verify all duties are getting completed
• Knowledge and ability to cut meat


Qualifications:

• Line cook experience mandatory
• Breakfast cook experience and ability to flip eggs
• Flexible scheduling according to business operations
• Ability to multitask
• Positive attitude and open to feed back


Essential Functions:

• Be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours daily
• Stand in place for long periods of time
• Be able to bend and lift as needed, up to 50 lbs
• Be able to crawl, twist and turn
• Be able to read and write
